Fighting childhood cancer one cup at a time

Lampe Creative recently pitched in to create promotional material for an Alex’s Lemonade Stand event. We definitely felt good about donating time for such a great cause. For more information on how you can help, please visit www.alexslemonade.org

Introducing Barthalowmule

Way back when, designer Sarah Lampe started working on this project as part of a Senior Independent Study while at Colby College. It eventually developed into a full-fledged coloring book currently sold in the Colby College Bookstore. Sarah was invited back to Colby last summer to participate in an author book signing during Reunion Weekend, along with Annie Proulx! The project was created in Illustrator and the entire print run was wonderfully executed by LaVigne Press in Worcester, MA. Sometimes it’s fun to do something out of the norm, and to see a seemingly small idea become reality!

American Inhouse Design Awards

Designer Sarah Lampe received a Certificate of Excellence from the 2008 American Inhouse Design Awards for the Plotkin: Vaccines, 5th Edition brochure. Attached is the cover design of the direct mail piece produced for Elsevier, Inc.

Open House Invitations

This quick project consists of invitations for a neighborhood open house event. The goal was to come up with something quirky and humorous, geared towards young parents. It didn’t take long to create this design, sometimes the perfect image surfaces relatively quickly. In this case, two images (one of the baby and one of the parents) were combined using the smudge tool and a careful clipping path. Click on the image for an enlarged view of the completed invitation!
